We take the adoption of our Maine Coon kittens VERY seriously. Every Maine Coon here at Thornfield Maine Coons is part of our family. We allow folks to adopt them so that they, too, may experience the love & joy that our Maine Coons have brought us.

immediate removal from our Black Friday Special.

Applications will be evaluated on a first-come basis.
Applicants are expected to:
- be gainfully employed,
- live where a pet is allowed,
- have sufficient income to pay for the feeding and care of a Maine Coon,
- be a United States citizen, &
- not have any previous local or federal convictions or
- outstanding local or federal charges against them.

ONLY BE SEEN and evaluated by Carter Perry, and will

NOT BE SOLD or deliberately shared with ANY PERSON,

COMPANY, or ENTITY.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES & REGULATIONS

WILL REMOVE YOUR APPLICATION FROM CONSIDERATION.

Winners will be notified first and then posted on the website & online in a way that preserves their anonymity. A $350 non-refundable deposit paid through our Business PayPal account, plus a 3.65% credit card processing fees (charged by PayPal), will be required within 24 hours of notification before the kitten of your choice will be reserved for you. The balance of payment will be due prior to the release of the selected Thornfield Maine Coon kitten. Balance of payment may be made in cash, by Venmo, or via our Business PayPal account, plus the 3.65% credit card processing fees.

Winners must also read fully, complete, and sign a Thornfield Maine Coon Adoption/Purchase Application, and agree with the following Adoption/Pruchase requirements: a) Thornfield Maine Coon kitten must be spayed or neutered per our recommended timetable and NEVER bred. We recommend spay or neuter between 7 and 10 months. b) Thornfield Maine Coon kitten must never be declawed. c) Thornfield Maine Coon kittens MUST BE INDOOR CATS only. Secure screened porches and/or catios are permitted for temporary play. d) Thornfield Maine Coon kittens MUST NEVER BE RE-SOLD. e) \If at any time the Winner is unable to provide a Thornfield Maine Coon with adequate food, healthcare, or shelter, due to personal health, allergy, or loss of income, he/she agrees to return the Thornfield Maine Coon kitten/cat to Carter Perry, the Owner/Operator of Thornfield Maine Coons. Failure to agree to or follow these requirements will result in legal action by Thornfield Maine Coons.

The selected Thornfield Maine Coon kitten MUST BE picked up by the Winner IN PERSON within 3 weeks of notification of the Winner's selection. If the Winner is unable to pick up within 3 weeks, other arrangements can be made, but there may be an additional fee to cover the boarding and care of the kitten. The daily board fee will not exceed $5.00/day.
